did surgery go wrong or damage from a nerve block

Had C5 diskectomy Feb.'06,since then I have had more pain than I had before the surgery.I complained first of my arm burning and I felt like I wanted to rip it off.The Neurosurgen asked me excactly where it hurt and burn and his reply was that it was my C5.Tell me, wouldn't you take that as oops maybe something I done was done incorrectly if this woman is suffering in the area I performed the surgery. Well, to no avail did they do anything but give me pain meds.I didn't know any better at the time, I guess it just didn't hit me, the pain was busy doing that for me. I couldn't even think but anyway I lost my ins. so was without for a year. Funnnnnnn.ER.ER,ER,ER,ER, that seem like my home.I wound up getting  a series of 3 Epidural steroid injections.The first two actually helped me. I could move my arms and felt alive again. Something told me, for some reason, not to go the the last one.I was fine now but noooooo I had to go.This place was ,how could I explain it,like a jungle.They had music bairing so that you could even hear it in the lobby and the doc was laughing and talking @his trip to LA while he had that needle down my back.I layed there patient and a bolt of lightnig felt as if it came out of the sky and struck me on that table. It was so powerful that I raised my head out of that hole and said "what happened?" He studdered when he answered w/friction.
He told me to put my head back down and I guess that meant he still had the needle in. Then he told me to sit up real fast and started to asking questions......Do you have heavy breathing?..Are your ears ringing? I told him I felt funny that my hands and feet were both numb. My feet felt as if they just had the soles on. I still feel the same way now if not a whole lot worse than I did that day. It seems to be taking over my body. I am actually scared to death. Just a quick thing to say @ neck surgery,I did have 8 MRI's(4cervical,2shoulder,1thoracic,1lumbar)They haven't seen anything, but they also said they couldn't see behind my plates in my neck and I have had a doc here in my home town who's had 800 hrs. Neuropathy and told me after taking an xray that couldn't believe it. I said what? He told me that he saw a screw from my surgery and it was placed right directly on top of a nerve.He seemed actually angry. I beileve the man. He's a good man and I don't think he'd lie to me. I got an appt. back where I had my surgery,but not to happy cause these people have probably made me suffer for God knows how long. I just pray that they find it because I am ready to chunk this med. they give me. I am so tired of taking med. I just want ot live. I used to work in Nashville, TN at Opryland. Yeah, I probably entertained some of you if you ever went to a show there in the park called Country Music USA. Best years of my life.I was free from most of the stresses of life and a young 24yr old,worked with some well known people.My nickname in Nashville was Bubbles.Well, I am still am bubbly... not dingy.....but going thru this too long. Help if can..GOD BLESS.........K

I am so sorry,I really didn't expain how I feel and my symptoms. I can be a little up front now after going through pain for over 3 yrs. and this pain is so excrutiating that I seem to moan and scream,it depends on what is going on inside.I am a christian person and try to be humble in any situation.Sometimes the pain in me comes out and anybody w/this kind of pain has to be close to the Lord. He is just chastising His children and I am truely blessed because I think of the people that can't do the things I do, which isn't much, but I still am grateful.
    Well, I got that all out and I hope I didn't affend anybody.It's just so important that we all get well and help each other in anyway we can. I can tell you from experience that The Lord can heal you w/just a prayer. It's just when He thinks you are ready to truely commit and do His Will, and turn everything over to Him,then will your life mean something. Sorry again...I just have so much love in my heart for others and I prayed for that. I received it. I do have faith that one day I will be back to the living and I just want to give others that same hope.
     Again, I am not sure that doc messed me up but I am going back to see the him that done 90 perc. of my surg. on 4-13.Please say a prayer for me.Thank you so much.See I don't know if I have 2 probs. or just one. I know that I have hurt since surgery but not as bad as I have since that last nerve block. If anybody knows anything @ the damage that can occur during a nerve block please give me the details. I have searched so much @it but I would love to hear true stories that would lead me in the right direction. I have suffered for almost 6 yrs. if you can count not being able to work since the spring of '04.It's hard on me to because beilieve it or not I love to work, it makes me feel alive! Anyway, stay in bed mostly in pn and know there is an answer somewhere,why not here.
I love how the forum is set up and so easy to post and communicate.I just hope I get to know some of you and can help you in anyway that I can too.I just want to be able to do things w/my kids(2boys)11&16.They need me so much. I want to be able to go and do if there is anyway possible.Now,sore to touch,knees hurt so much, back throbs even in the area where the nerve block would have been like a heartbeat after you have cut your finger but stronger w/spasms that are deep in my chest up to my neck. So see I don't know if it is one or both.Maybe the docs. will find it this time I go back.I do know that most of my symptoms now have lead me to believe it was the nerve blk.Can it be the nerve blk?Really? That is what my friend thinks and he has some good points but we are not docs.So if anybody has any more info on people that have been injured to the point where it has disabled them by ESI please help me try to find answers.You know we have to get the answers because most of them, forgive me(had exp.),are after that 27per. on every dollar they can get. If a doc.can seem to make it more imp. to get his $ over the true ability to make someone's life good,that is so wrong.Well, running out of space now but will tell you another story next time.
