dizzy,headaches help

For the past 7 months i have had constant headaches with lightheadedness.once in a while my body feels like its going numb and its harder for me to breathe.Over the past month or so the headaches havnt been so bad but i have been light headed alot. When i was 14 i got my thyroid radiated and since then i have been taking levothyroxine.my levels have been way off so doctors thought that that is what could be causing my symptoms. They put me on .125 mg of levothyroxine and i got my tsh levels checked and they are perfectly normal at .4.
I still have all of the same symptoms so i am thinking that my thyroid isnt what is causing all these symptoms.Does anyone have any idea on what this could be.

Skip your endcrinologist and PCP and go see a neurologist.  Get an MRI of your brain.
Im hypothyroid and have some of the same symptoms.  Wont tell you my verdict...it wont matter.
Just go to the right doctor now and find out what is going on in your head.

Hi,
How are you?
There can be many causes of dizziness like low blood sugar, high blood pressure, inner ear diseases like Meniere’s disease, ear infections, dehydration, excessive anxiety, vestibular migraine, and hyperventilation.
I would suggest you to please schedule an appointment with your physician and discuss these possibilities. Do keep us posted!

Hi,

It seems unlikely that your symptoms are due to hypothyroidism especially since your TSH levels are normal.
One of the very uncommon symptoms of hypothyroidism is migraine which can cause lightheadedness and headache.
How long ago did you get your TSH levels checked?

Hi,

Yes you can go to a neurologist and get a complete neurological examination done. Pinched nerves generally cause tingling numbness in the areas of their distribution and not generalized numbness. It is better however to get an evaluation done. Do keep us posted!
