MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there. This looks like neurapraxia, which is a transient episode of motor paralysis with little or no sensory or autonomic dysfunction as per the Seddon’s classification scheme for classifying nerve damage. There is no disruption of the nerve or its sheath. 40 % recovery has already taken place and the prognosis is good upto complete recovery. Certain tests need to be done by an opthalmolgist to see the degree of strabismus and whether there will be improvement after surgery.
Take care.
