double vision in sunlight

my friend is 22 yrs old.she is not able to see properly.whenever she goes out in sun or sees towards the light she sees everything double and suffers severe headache.she already wears specktecles. after she starting getting the problem he got his eye tests done but the reports were clear. doctor said to consult a neurologist.he also said that it may be due to some pressure on the nerves in the brain but could not give a reason for it.can u please suggest why this happens and measures should be taken.in what period the treatment has to be started if neccesary.
