dripping and scratching

dripping and scratching

It started with a vertigo attack back in June.I was diagnosed with positional benign vertigo.I then started to have very bad headaches and a lot of pressure in my head.I had 2 cat scans which came out normal.I then started going for vestibular therapy to help remove the calcium deposits.I also started seeing an acupuncture because my headaches were very bad but it didn't help.I had an mri which showed areas of increased signal then the neurologist suggested i get MRI spectrum which didn't show anything new.I then got a spinal tap which came back normal. All these happened when i was going to nursing school and i managed to graduate in Aug,Thanks to the Almighty. My doctor finally diagnosed me with migraine headaches in Aug.He put me on Zomig and i have to take Amitryptylline 75mg every night to prevent headaches. My headaches are not as bad but i can't stop scratching my head.I feel like something is dripping in the middle of my head and i feel pressure in my neck and head.I don't know why i am scratching my head so much and i also have like burning pain in different areas of my head. This is disrupting my life so much, if you have an answer please help me.

This may not be what's wrong, but it wouldn't hurt to switch shampoos!  Could be you're a little allergic to whatever kind you're using, which might cause all the stuff that's happening.  I used a new brand, Dove shampoo, for a while and my head itched constantly.  Great stuff, but I only use it once in a while now, and I stopped itching my head.  Your calcium deposits are interesting; next time you go to the doc, you could have them draw blood and do an analysis of your vitamin levels.  Finally, if your head starting itching after the vertigo, could be you're reacting to a medication you have been put on.  Just some simple ideas.  Others may have more medical type answers.
