drunk / high feeling all day, everyday

hey guys, i'm new to the forum, but i've been reading up on the "drunk feeling" topics and was wondering if anyone found a cause / cure. i'm a 25 year old male, and i've had this feeling for 3 and a half days straight. the feeling appeared quite suddenly. i remember being at the store with my younger brother and it just "happened". i thought it may just be mild anxiety, shrugged it off, and it went away about 5 hours later. the next day however, within an hour of waking the feeling came back, and it hasn't gone away since. it seems to get better (or i don't notice it as much) when i'm in the dark, and only doing one thing (i.e. watching a movie). these are my symptoms:

feel like i just had a few drinks even though i didn't
this constant, nonstop, light headed fuzzy feeling
visually, its harder to focus on things
mild pressure on my forehead, between the eyes and on my forehead, more noticeable laying down
mild headaches have been coming and going
my mouth has been extremely dry
i can cough up a bit of phlem, but all is clear and i don't feel stuffy

i went to see a primary care physician, who did and ekg and bloodwork, to tell me that everything looked 100% normal. i'm generally a very healthy guy, i don't usually get sick, eat relatively healthy, dont drink much, and go to the gym on a regular basis. i was, however, just diagnosed with pityriasis rosea, which is an extremely rash on the skin which my doctor prescribed fluocinonide (lidex) cream. i'm not sure if this condition is in any way related.

one other thing to note is that a week ago for the first time in my life i drank a substantial amount of alcohol. i've never been seriously drunk / thrown up / had a hangover until this time. not sure if there is a connection there?

please, any help would be much appreciated! i haven't been able to really do anything at all except lay in bed since this started :(

Well, I don't drink at all, yet have been accused by a wicked person who thankfully doesn't live next door any more of being drunk.  Just leave it there, because it's a long story off topic.  I am allergic to all forms of alcohol.  I discovered that I have had a life long of silent migraines and wasn't aware of how many I have until after I was diagnosed with migraine disorder.  The reason is because silent migraines are migraines without the actual head pain.  Thankfully, most of mine range from mild to moderate.  They're miserable enough without being worse than that.  But, the diagnosis has made me aware of what I'm experiencing much more clearly.

The only connection I can think of is that there are sulfites in all types of alcoholic drinks.  That includes beer and wine.  Red wine will likely affect you more, because there are more sulfites in the red wine.

Look up Tyramine Intolerance.  It is connected to both migraine disorder and IBS.  Under Tyramine Intolerance comes gluten intolerance.  I don't know a whole lot about the skin rash you're describing, but it's anything like eczema or a form of eczema, you will likely benefit from a gluten free diet.  I learned that the hard way.  You do not have to have Celiac to have gluten intolerance.  Once I stopped eating gluten and dairy both, I stopped getting the horrid giant blisters on my hands that would take weeks and weeks to heal only to flare up again about as soon as they would heal over.

Gluten intolerance is likely related to both of your conditions as they are with me.

Be careful about over treating migraines.  Rebound headaches are far worse to deal with.  Try to stay off of the computer as much as you can.
