enfant epilepsy/seizures-unknown origin

My grandson is a little more than one year old. At approximately 2 weeks of age he began seizing. He has been through numerous drugs to attempt to control the seizures with no success. He is now on a special diet that is reputed to have had some success in controling seizures in enfants.
He exhibits little motor control. His mother is not sure if this is the affect of the drugs or the seizures. He seems to seize more frequently at meals. He has difficulty coordinating his efforts to eat and has a feeding tube to assist getting this accomplished. Prognosis is not good.
I recently heard on Good Morning America that a mother of an autistic child did some reasearch and she and her Dr. began a treatment of a drug called seretin. The idea was to increase seretonin levels to the brain in hopes of controling the symptoms of autism evidenced by her child. The treatment was very successful. Could it possibly help my grandson?
