my son has just been diagnosed with epilepsy, there was a small spot on his brain and the doctor
has scheduled my son to have a mrv and mra. Could this be the problem causing epilepsy??

my names Jordan, I started having seizures around the age of 8 or 9 ..  i have been on dozens of medications all of which had there own side affects, both mentally and physically..  it wasn't until i tried marijuana that my seizures were practically brought to a stop. I'm not saying go out and buy weed illegally, but you should definitely look into cbd.. and look into the laws around your area on cbd... it is the best thing for seizures,  i was having over 30 seizures a day, but once cbd was introduced into y life i have maybe 1 a year if that

perhaps they found a lesion of hippocampal sclerosis. this is a spot on the brain that is often associated with temporal lobe epilepsy. it's good that they caught it. if it's removed, it can possibly eliminate his seizures, assuming they are looking for hippcampal sclerosis. check for information on temporal lobectomy for more information on the topic.

does your son have seizures?  Did they do an EEG, MRI, or Cat Scan on him?

Our son is 17 years old and has been fainting and having convulsions for over a year now.  All of his EEG's, MRI's, CT's and blood work come back normal.  They said our son has syncope with seizures and that he will out grow it.  Mean while, I can't take the convulsions.  I can handle him fainting but, the convulsions need to stop.
