facial neuralgia numbness

I was diagnosed with trigminol neuralgia.my question is this.
my face,nose,side of my head,lower jawupper lip is very numb.
it is so debilitating,i cant tell you ,its awful.
my teeth and gums on the left side and pallet are so numb that i cant feel them.
my gums are very swollen..Please help me.
