facial tension and burning lip syndrome

I have suffered with a two conditions which may or may not be related but are equally discomforting to the point of depression. The first is a burning sensation on my upper and lower lip. Also the end of the tongue. It is the sensation you might get after eating hot pizza. It's not hugely painful but the lips are too sensitive to the touch as in kissing. The other condition is a tighening and numbness of the muscles, nerves on the sides of my neck and up through my sides of my face, around the eyes and forehead. Its not symetrical as the left side feels more pronounced.

treatments so far for the lips have included topical creams, ointments or the hydicortizone, antibacterial and even the precancer ointment.. The lips were also biopsyed with negative results. For the facial tension it has mostly been treated with the gaba family of drugs for epilepsy. They produce nothing more that sluggishnes and no relief.
I've had nuerologic testing for functioin and both MRI and MRA with negative results.

I do have a acid reflux condition with hiatal hernia but we don't think there is a relationship. Also I've never been alergic (allergic) to anything and tested negative for food and atmospheric allergens.

Were do I go from here. It really is affecting my mental health.. I'm getting married soon and its very difficult to kiss the bride as much as I want to..

This discussion is related to head pressure, muscle stiffness.
