Hi there
For the last couple of weeks I've had some twitching around my mouth , chin area. I've never experienced this before and have become worried due to it's consistency. What can this be caused from? Please help!!!!!!

Here are MY personal findings...

Rich greasy foods never...ever...fail to exaserbate the symptom within an hour or so. cheeseburgers, pizza and anything deep-fried. Especially butter, cheese and mayo - the absolute worst offenders.

Sticking with "fashion model" foods such as fresh raw veggies and grilled fish/fowl with only fat-free toppings (salsa, lemon and vinegarette instead of tartar sauce and bleu cheese dressing).

I've tried abstaining from coffee and adding potassium and B-vitamins to my daily regimen - absolutely NO help whatsoever!

Hi.

Are there any other symptoms? Are you currently experiencing anxiety or psychological stress?

Twitching around the mouth and chin are is non-specific and can be caused by many conditions, including stress and anxiety, some neurologic disorders, and vitamin deficiencies.

Consult a physician if you are concerned about your condition.
