fainting and urination??

my grandmother has had several episodes of falling off the toilet when she is urinating. she doesn't remember falling over or falling asleep, which makes me think she is passing out? she takes requip and neurontin for rls, and hctz and asa for occasional swelling of her lower legs. i couldn't really find anything as far as interactions go... does anyone have any idea why this keeps happening.? it's not at night, usually morning or ealry afternoon. she has given herself a black eye and cut her hand... she is very alert and oreinted for her age. she is 78. any suggestions??

hi,it seems she is having micturition syncope.

Also hctz can lead to sodium-potassium loss which can cause hypotension leading to fainting.

Please consult doctor and get her serum electrolyte levels done along with ECHO of heart.
