fits in sleep

I have fits in sleep from 5yrs. My EEG & Sity scan is also normal. So please give me diagnose. My age is 22yrs.

Hi there!

With a normal EEG this is unlikely to be epilepsy, while other causes such as sleep disturbances, stress/ anxiety, low blood sugar, electrolyte disturbances etc may need to be considered. Since the symptoms only occur in sleep neuro-muscular causes are unlikely as well. I would suggest getting this evaluated by an internist for a detailed initial evaluation and depending on the cause(s) diagnosed/ suspected, it can be managed accordingly or specialist care may be sought.
