I have seizures, Layman terms Absent seizures. They do not last very long and some people just think I am just day dreaming when I have one. I have Glaucoma also. Prior to having a siezure I have moments of visual fluttering. and Any bright lights can be very glaring and can trigger the seizures . I don't always know if they are connected as the Glaucoma has some of the same eye symptoms, especially if I am tired or under stress. I have been under a neurologist care for a long time and on medication to control the glaucoma pressure and seizure medication. I can still have an occassional breakthrough episode. Its an off chance that this is your problem. But it took what seemed like a long time to figure this out.and six months is too long to wait . I too have migraine headaches
Hi there. This seems to be retinal detachment or vitreous prolapse. You didint mention any associated localized headaches like one sided along with nausea and vomiting. Migraine however need to be considered . Do not delay your appointment with a neuropthalmologist since the ophthalmologist and retinologist have not been able to find much. There is no point delaying a super specialist referral, as it would worsen the symptoms over 6 months. take care.
It sounds, and I could be wrong, like silent migraines.
Even though it is probably silent migraines, in that case diet is the best way to control them, you want to see a neurologist if possible. Don't wait for a doctor to give you permission (a referral), find a neurologist and tell them the situation.
