Hi back in october my wife suffered a brain anurisim this has left her with frontal lobe damage.
From october until 4 weeks ago she was fitted with a cafater and now has no sessation toilet wise.
Will this sessation return or is there any medication etc that can help.
Also is there any treatment or medication that will help repair her frontal lobe damage.
We are from the the UK, a country that takes a long time in excepting new medicines(proberbly for cost reasons)
It is difficult to say when she will recover from the frontal lobe damage. Did the aneurysm rupture? Was it treated before it can rupture?
If the frontal lobe areas are damaged permanently (infarct), they can not be repaired. That function is lost. One has to see on an MRI how much damage is done to the frontal lobes to be able to judge the bladder incontinence situation.
