frontoparietal cortical atrophy

frontoparietal cortical atrophy

Hi

I need help concerning the results of an MRI. My wife (39 years old) continuously suffers from blinding headaches and recently had an MRI. The results showed a mild frontoparietal cortical atrophy and a hyperintensive demyelinisation of the right parietal paraventricle, without signs of swelling or expansion (I'm translating this from Slovak so there's a chance the sentence structure is off). Could anyone give any pointers as to what could be the prognosis? The only links I have found on the net show this as a partial symptom of several and diverse conditions such as MS, Alzheimer's, etc.

Many thanks
