My husband recently died with a glioblastoma. After having significant dental treatment (root canal work etc) in February/March 2006 he was very ill with what he thought was a virus for 2 weeks and woke up and found himself on the floor (now I believe after having a fit). He was diagnosed with a glioblastoma in June 2007 after having a fit in November 2006 and more in early 2007. Could the glioblastoma have been caused by having the dental treatment? Could the dentist have drilled too deep causing an infection or leakage of something he used in the tooth?
