: Thank you very much to both Jeff Palmer and the CCF Neuro MD for responding to my posting. I have been to a specialist today, as a matter-of-fact ,and he feels very strongly that my problem is probably caused by a blister, of all things, in the back of my eye.  After talking for a while, he pointed out that this condition is caused by extreme stress. I would have to mention that I am a major shareholder and active officer in a very competitive family business. A slew of tests were conducted and I will know the final results by the early part of next week. In light of the comparable tameness of this outcome, I feel a little foolish for taking up your time. From what I was experiencing, I was sure that it had to be something of a neurological disorder or disease.  I also felt that time was slipping away from me, after having been to two doctors, who could offer no explanation. If you would like to get more information about my symptoms, the doctors I have seen and the whole process, I would be more than happy to supply you with anything you want to know.  Again - Thank you very much for your concern.

Thank you for the interesting followup---- glad it was apparently something benign, particularly given its rather ominous sounding presentation. Any specific name for the blister (i.e. herpetic etc.) that your doctor gave you?
