head pressure, lightheadedness after meals

For the last two weeks I've had a strange sensation of dizziness and lightheadedness, also accompanied by a feeling of pressure in my head.  These feelings oddly seemt to intensify after meals.  I also get some sharp pains in my upper abdomen and a dull aching pain in my lower back.  The lightheadedness has become quite disorienting at times, It makes me scared to drive and do other activity that owould be normal.  I don't have any medical history of problems, am a young 21 year old active female and follow a pretty healthy diet.  I'm going to make a doctor's appointment as soon as my insurance will cover it, but I'm trying to get some answers in the meantime so I can have an idea what to expect when I do go in for a visit.

What do you mean by saying Lightheaded? As far as I know lightheadedness is dizziness. There are lots of causes for dizziness.
True dizziness is something like light headedness. What you would have experienced is balance instability or vertigo kind of thing.
Vertigo is the sensation that the room is moving or spinning, or that the person is moving or spinning within the environment. Symptoms are Sensation of spinning, room spinning sensation, Balance problems, and nausea.
Any ear disorder or eye disorder can also cause balance instability.
There can be cardiac cause to dizziness too and may be he would have suffered a Cardio-pulmonary arrest following an episode of dizziness.
