Your ear problem should be evaluated formally by an otologist. Aside from the usual physical examination, he may require special tests like audiometry or tympanometry to pinpoint the problem.
The heaviness in your head can be due to stress and I advise you discuss this with your physician. Based on his neurologic exam, he may be able to diagnose your problem or be able to refer you to a specialist. Pain medications may also help
