I am a 25 yrs old male I have had some chest pains on the left side of my chestfor the past for 5 years i wend to see a cadiologist who did heart x-ray and ECG everything was normal that was about for yrs ago gave me some medication for what i dont know. they came bqack after a few weeks until they were a bit servire last year around novermber then i went to a GP last month He also did the ECG and Heart X-ray everything is normal . Game sleeping pills and Vit B coplex and paracetemol ect.

Im still in pain even now.

the pain is on the left side breast dowards center  of the chest just. the pain in take a least 4 seconds and the goes away but since the GP gave me pill there has been some constant small pain with a sevire one coming one in two days.  thank you

Hi there. The good news is that your cardiovascular system has been found within normal limit. The non cardiogenic causes of chest pain on the left side could be pleuritis, musculoskeletal pain arising from costochondral junctions and ribs, psychogenic or anxiety related. Consult a physician for detailed systemic examination and investigations like chest x ray to check for pleural fluid, any rib fractures, etc.  Pleural tap, intercostals nerve blocks might be required. You can use NSAIDS for the pain. Hope this helps. Take care.
