heavy, tingly, intense brain sensations

by RachelEMacd, Jul 04, 2009 10:17PM
Any idea what is causing this problem and how to deal with it?   I have tingly, heaviness, intense feeling in my head, at the back, top, on both sides.  It makes it hard to stay awake, think and I'm dizzy.  I sleep 2 or 3 hrs then get up for 2 hrs before have to sleep again.  I have hyperthyroidism due to Graves' Disease but the blood levels are going back to normal now, but this keeps going.  It was different before a few days ago, not so bad and I didn't get dizzy, and it was about 2.5 hours up, 1-2 hrs asleep, repeat, regularly.  This requires a lot more sleep.  Pls advise soon.

I also have tingling sensations both at pin-point locations and for different areas of my brain. The feelings seem to depend on how much I am using my brain and what I am thinking about, but what I've been experimenting with to understand what I control is: meditation (i focus on the backs of my eyelids for 10ish minutes), trying to focus on my body feelings and the connection with the right side, then notice when concepts seem to 'light up' the left side, also, taking a break from learning is key for me (if the tingling is bothering me). Sometimes it feels good, like cleaning up a messy room or something... best of luck to you.
