hello sir/mam

by Niti629, Oct 23, 2007 06:31AM
In the year 2001, I experienced my first seizure during sleep.  This happened due to disturbance in my sleep.  I shook my legs during my sleep and get noticed by my mother and suddenly fall down.  Glass of water was also fall down from my hands. I just felt blank for few seconds.  But not lost my conscious.  Then I went to consult a neurologist.  He suggested me to go for EEG and thereafter to go for a medicine, which continued till October 2005.  But as soon as I stopped medicine I felt jerks again. For few seconds, my whole body shook and it was just like someone scared me.  Then I consulted some other physician, who also did EEG and my medicine is still going.  As per physician’s advice, medicine will go on for around 15 – 20 years.  It has also been suggested not to go for late night parties etc.

So I just want to know how long my medicine will go on and if I will occasionally to attend late night family functions and if there is any possibility to go for any surgery.

                                  Thanking you.
                        Eagerly waiting for your reply.
