how could i get rid of phenytoin?

i had brain tumor three months ago,i undergo surgery,radiation and chemotherapy and i finished from them recently
my question is how can i get rid of phenytoin?because i dont like its side effects esp. hirsutism
even if i change to another one what u recommend me to use?
i would like to mention also that i didnt have any seizures from the operation till now,never ever,so can we neglect taking it at all,or it is a must since i had a brain surgery?
please help me

How are you?
Recent studies have shown that phenytoin does not help in reducing the seizure rate and may actually increase the complications.
