Without seeing the scan or official report, Its hard for me to comment on the result
numbnessNumbness and tingling in that part of the arm can result from compression of the 8th cervical nerve root - I dont know if this corresponds to the area the lesion is in. I cannot tell from your text how severe any cord or root compression is, if any?
An epidural hematoma should be able to be differentiated on the scan from other causes and could be serious as it can get worse quickly and cause spinal cord compression - this should be addressed promptly - I dont know how likely they thought this is, or if it was just a 'differential diagnosis'
Scwannomas are a common cause of lesions compressing spinal cord roots and are benign growths that may enlarge slowly over a long period of time and may be multiple in different locations. they can be more common in patients with neurofibromatosis so you should be checked for any clinical evidence of this disorder on the neurological examination
Again, cyst is usually benign but may cause symptoms by compression of a nerve root
Check with your doctor or neurologist to comment on the results of the scan as soon as possible
Good luck
