hypomyelination

by jyp, Nov 23, 2006 12:00AM
Hypomyelination in the periventricular white matter and medial aspect of the cerebellum (left more than right). These were the results of my son's MRI. His EEG was normal. Doc. said it will not get worse in the future and also it doesn't affect his brain (i.e.:I.Q.).  He has speech delay(begining to talk more) and his motor skills have minimal incoordiantion. He explaiined that with speech therapy and physical therapy he will overcome this porblem and be mainstreamed living a normal life. What can I do to help him overcome this delay faster.
