idopathic sf neuropathy

I have been dx with isfn. This after 1.5 years of testing. I do have low b12 and vit d levels but nothing they think can cause any of this. I am on cymbalta and neurontin. It seems to be getting worse with the burning pain. Does anyone else have this and any suggestions as to how I can deal with this? I just can't stand this buring feeling all over my body all day long and it is getting worse not better. ugh.

Hello and hope you are doing well.

The therapy for idiopathic small fiber neuropathy is focused on the treatment of pain. Medications like anticonvulsants, opioids and tricyclic antidepressants are found to be effective. Exercise and physical therapy are essential for preservation of function.
