Hi there. There can be many reasons for tremors in infants. Some medications that the child or even the mother is taking while breast-feeding could be the culprit. Lithium and asthma medications are known for tremors. Tumors in cerebellum could result in tremors in both infants and adults. Cerebral palsy, which results due to lack of oxygen at birth, could cause tremors and other involuntary movements. Epilepsy and hypoglycemia in infant are other possible causes. Consult a pediatric neurologist with your concerns and a detailed evaluation is warranted. Hope this helps. Take care.
