infarcts displaying increased signal intensity

I am 33 years male.
I had a stroke in july 2009 - bilateral dissection of internal cartoid artery. The risk factor identified was smoking. I took treatment and the MRA report in december 2009 showed it as resolved. I am continuing the medicines till date. The medicines are clopivas, atorva and folvite. For the past 8 months i am having pain behind my right eyes. i often forget the names of people and experience some imbalance while walking. Tested eyes and everything was fine. I did a MRA and it tells " small vessel related infarcts displaying increased signal intensity on FLAIR and T2 weighted images are seen in left centrum semiovale"

Could u explain what it is?
