info on lipomatosis

  need info on cause and treatment on diffuse epidual lipomatosis patient loosing ability to walk  has increased spasticity along with weakness and contracture of ankles  other history is third ventricular cyst  partiallly removed  has shunt which appears to be functioning  need name of treating physicans and facilities.

Thanks for your question.  Spinal epidural lipomatosis (SEL) is a condition
in which excess adipose tissue is deposited circumferentially about the
spinal cord in the epidural space. It is most frequently seen in patients
on chronic glucocorticosteroid therapy for a variety of medical problems.
