Dear Doctor,
Yes, I really appreciate you answering my question. I was hit from behind by a car two months ago. After this my
neckCervical spondylosis
Head and neck glands
Herpes zoster (shingles) on the neck and cheek
Irritated seborrheic kerotosis - neck
Lymph tissue in the head and neck.
Melanoma - neck
Neck lump
Neck pain
Neck pulse
Neck x-ray
Oral cancer hurt badly and so I went to the
emergencyEmergency airway puncture
Emergency contraception room. The doctor there said I had
whiplashLocation of whiplash pain
Shaken baby syndrome
Whiplash and gave me medicine. I have not taken any medicine for over 45 days now. Now, whenever I hold a remote
controlControl
Control rx or my cordless phone or anything grasping in my
handsHand or foot spasms
Hand tremor they shake uncontrollably. I wondered if this was due to the wreck or not. My general practitioner thought it could be due to the medication since the symptoms started about a week after the wreck so he took me off of one of the medicines. He also had me eliminate
caffeineCaffeine
Caffeine anhydrous
Caffeine citrate
Caffeine-acetaminophen
Caffeine-ergotamine and he did a thyroid test along with other blood tests. He said he would refer me to a neurologist but doesn't think it's necessary. I'm just worried that years down the road I'll be denied insurance for a pre-existing condition. It shakes a lot when I'm holding something or when I get tense and sometimes when I'm not holding anything just lying in bed at night. The X-Rays done in the ER didn't show anything according to the ER doctor and the general practitioner. Am I just worrying for nothing? My mother saw a thing on Parkinson's making your hand shake and we got really scared but I have none of the other symptoms and I'm only 23 and I have no history and neither does my family. I appreciate you answering me.
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Frances in Texas
Do a search on teh web for Thoracic Outlet syndrome. I am not saying at this stage you have devloped it but you may avoid a potential liabilty over looked by premature settlement or medical problems escalating to the syndrome if you do not improve.
Best of luck,
