is it miller fisher or not?

my mother was in for a bowel obstruction surgery and was recovering well at the hospital but on her third night of recovery,was ruched up to icu because she became unresponsive and thought to have a stroke. mri came back negative but she now has a trach breathing for her and has not opened her eyes for 19 days.They say miller fisher and is getting ivig treatment and plasma treatment but still no change. Any advice or has any one gone through this?
