large hematoma in groin 4mos after heart cath causing pain in theigh and abdomin(abdomen)

by kazzaroma, Oct 30, 2009 10:28AM
My cardiologist has so far scheduled 2 arterial cat scans to insure artery is functioning after heart cath surgury in July of 2009 due to large hematoma still in groin after surgury. However, nothing more is being done and pain & swelling is increasing.  There is no evidence of infection. I was told to just wait this out and eventually the body will absorbe the hematoma.  Sitting for prolonged times increases sharp, stabbing pains and abdominal cramping making it difficult to consentrate as my employment requires sitting at a desk for 8 hrs per day.  Should I continue to wait for healing?
