Dear lovely: The best remedy I have found so far is this: calcium tablets. Your muscles also need calcium to function. When I take my calcium tablets religiously I just don't have muscle pain. When I forget to take them for over a week or so, then the pain returns in my legs. I exercise a lot and am a little bit overweight. You need to take them for a week or so before noticing any relief. The longer you take them the more relief you get. They are also good for your heart because it is also a muscle and of course your bones will appreciate a little calcium. I used to think calcium was just for your bones. I was dead wrong. Santafesasquatch
Hi,
The causes of leg pain may be numerous. One of them is poor blood circulation. Since you are anemic, blood circulation to the legs may not be adequate. The pain getting relieved on stretching suggests the same. Blood circulation is improved on stretching thus relieving pain. Other causes may be deficiency of multivitamins and multiminerals. Please take a diet rich in calcium, protein, multivitamins and multiminerals. You can take a diet rich in all these or use natural supplements. Daily exercises condition the muscles and thus help in reducing pain and cramps. Warm compresses help to relieve pain temporarily. Please consult a physician and neurologist and go for an MRI of the spine to rule out a nerve compression or pathology if the symptoms persist. Hope this helps you. Take care and regards!
my legs hurt too since i was young and when i was younger i was told it was growing pains. I have come to find out that tylenol does wonders and works instantly but most times it hurts when the weather is going to change, and i just recently noticed this past two years that stress makes it hurt too. I am planning on getting it checked out because now my daughter gets these pains.
Heating pad or hot bath to soak legs
Cherries (ripe) about 25 usually works, although this sometimes doesn't work
Tylenol, or ultracet and it worked a little better
NAP! this seems to help the greatest a couple of hours of sleep helps tremendously with my leg pain
Stretch the shin muscles by tucking them under your thighs on the floor and sitting on your heels with your knees together in front of you and lean back in increments of ten this stretches the muscles and relieves tension on the bone (where the pain origins)
good luck!
