Hi,
I wanted to know did you suffer any fever, generalized weakness or swelling in the neck?
As you have been diagnosed 5 days ago, then probably for these above mentioned symptoms you would have gone to doc and then they would have diagnosed as EBV infection.
Well, you can start multivitamin supplements and if symptoms persist after physiotherapy also, than you need to consult an orthopaedician.
Bye.

Hi Joe,
How long back have you been diagnosed with EBV infection?
Burning in leg is usually not associated with EBV infection. It can be associated with your infection as co-morbidity due to nutritional deficiency or vitamin B12 deficiency. I would suggest you to start a course of OTC multivitamin. If this does not help than you can decide to go ahead with your Physiotherapy.
Alternatively it can be due to nerve compression at your lower back causing such a symptom. In that case physiotherapy will definitely help.
Hope this helps.
Bye.
