Dear Imelda:
Sorry to hear about your Parkinson's disease. It is difficult to tell you why your experiencing the symptoms you describe. They may be side effects of the medication you are taking, but since you are in a special study, I have no idea if this is what is happening. I would consult with your study physicians. Lightheadedness might be from the medication or from your Parkinson's. What is your blood pressure when you are setting and then stand up? I would have your physician do this and if this is what is occuring (orthostatic hypotension) then there are things that your physician can do. The cough is difficult to say, do you feel that your throat is dry? If so, they may be a medication effect, but since you do not know your medication I can't tell you much. Again, as the study doctor about this.
Sorry I couldn' help much.
Sincerely,
CCF Neuro MD
