Are you currently on antidiabetic medications? Is your diabetes controlled? It is possible that your symptoms are a complication of un- or improperly controlled diabetes.  The chances of recovery from your condition would ultimately depend on the severity of nerve involvement.  Consult your endocrinologist to have your symptoms and diabetes managed.
