low back pain with raiding pain in left leg

i had surgery 1993 l5 s1,did ok for some years in 2005 started having pain going down back of left leg and bad pain in calf,had a mri and showed l5 s1 nerve compression from tissue or a peace of disc,had surgery and had a peace of disc against nerve,with some scare tissue,did ok while in bed but after had numb foot and pain in lower back and left leg but goes away as soon as i lay down, had leg check for blockage all good,had thrapy but as soon as i stand for 10 min or so or walk for 500 ft pain in left leg,if i walk on a tread mill with harness releaving 80 lbs no pain with weight pain, should i have a new mri it has been 3 mo. since surgery reeder
