maybe tunnelvision? please read any info should help

I'm a 23 year old male, over all very good health, never any issues, now this is hard for me to explain I'm stopped at a light while driving, I'm looking forward and everything is still in motion, lights Roads other cars ect, even after I blink a few times it will at times still be going on, most the time causing a adrenaline rush, I've tried looking up symptoms but can't find any info on the Web, hasn't gone to see a doctor as of yet

Thanks for using the forum. I am happy to address your questions, and my answer will be based on the information you provided here. Please make sure you recognize that this forum is for educational purposes only, and it does not substitute for a formal office visit with a doctor.

Without the ability to examine and obtain a history, I can not tell you what the exact cause of the symptoms is. However I will try to provide you with some useful information.

There is a condition called painopsia which is the persistence of visual images after the stimulus has been gone. It can occur as a result of medications, lesions in an area of the brain called the parieto-occipital area (on the right usually), metabolic disorders, carbon monoxide poisioning, and in ocular (i.e., eye) disorders. Additionally, it can occur without reason in healthy people.

It is not a common complaint. I suggest you follow up with your primary doctor for routine blood work. You may need to see a neurologist and/or ophthalmologist.

Thank you for this opportunity to answer your questions, I hope you find the information I have provided useful, good luck.
