Hereditary tremor or Essential tremor (ET) is one of the common movement disorders characterized by a slowly progressive postural and/or kinetic tremor, usually affecting both upper extremities.

Some of the commonly used medications are primidone and propranolol. Other medications used in clinical drug trials are  Topiramate Mirtazapine Gabapentin etc.

However, any medication should be taken only after medical consultation with a specialist who can prescribe the best treatment after examination and investigations.
