My endocrinologist has suggested an MRI-Pituitary because I'm hypothyroid with a slowly increasing prolactin level. An MRI six years ago found nothing.
I also had (have?) non-familiar megalencephaly and would like to know if it is usually accompanied by endocrine problems. Also, can the MRI be used to collect information on both conditions without increasing the cost too much?
Thank you,
PS: The folks at Cleveland Clinic are great. Watched them care for a toddler with Stevens-Johnsons syndrome a while back...
