I am not familar with the abbreviation PV. I would encourage you to have a formal opinion with a Neurosurgeon who can review the CT scans and provide advice. Without reviewing the scans I cannot comment on what the process may be. Based on your description of possible mass affect, it should be evaluated as soon as possible. If you do not have a neurosurgeon available, then start by seeing a neurologist. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply.PV is the short form of per vaginum used by gynaecologists.I have seen the neurosurgeons in Delhi. Based on her general condition divided opinions. Anyway if U could tell me of a good neuro surgeon to whom i can mail the scans  I would be obliged.

We have a very experienced group of brain tumor specialists. I believe you can gain access to them through our E-Cleveland Clinic internet site. Otherwise you could search the Cleveland Clinic website and under neuroscience there is a link to the Brain Tumor Institute. Good luck.
