meningitis

About 2 weeks ago I went to the dr with severe headacche & stiff neck. Dr ran a blood teast and
said I had viral meningitis and there was no treatment. She advised me to get lots of rest and check
back in 3 days. I did and she said it looked like i had the beginnings of some soret of viral infection
but she had no idea what. She advised me again to bed rest. After a couple days I felt better, just
very drained. A couple days ago it came back strong. The headache is more severse, my neck is
stiffer. I'm very nausous, and have some sort of purplish rash on my arms. Dr took blood than called
in an antibiotic called zithromax. She did not want me to come to the office, nor did I ever speak to
her directly only to the nurse. When I asked the nurse if the viral meningitis had come back she got
mad and said she didnt know, but if I was truely sick the dr would want to see me. I have just
moved to a new town, and this is my first dealings with this dr. My question is, if I have the viral men
again, is it important I see another dr? or is this one doing what she should for this situation. I am
kinda scared because Ive never felt this horrible before. I cant eat much I dont sleep. I havent had a
fever. I hope maybe someone can tell me what my next step should be or if Im making a lot out of
nothing. Thank you
