meningocele
I have a 11 days old daughter. She is suffering from the meningocele and a tethered chord at L5.It is not that much in contact.
At this time her all functions of legs, boul, and urinary functions are alright.According to doctor there is no abnormility found in these functions. Her brain MRI shows no obvious abnormalities. What will be the right treatment for her? Can we avoide sergery? If she needs operation then at what age she can be operated safelyand we can achive good results? Is there any method is available to treat this disorder other than the operation. If you know any specialist who can do this operation in India please tell me about that.I am very much worried about the outcomes of the operation. Please guide.
