When your heartrate goes up and you can't breathe, do the deep breathing I told you about in my first post to you.  Getting enough sleep will help ANYONE's symptoms improve.  And as for seeing your doc, I said if you tried some of the things I suggested and you weren't better in a couple weeks, THEN you could go, so whenever THAT happens, you can see a doctor for free by going to your county health department clinic as a walk-in for little to no money, no insurance needed, it's for poor people, unemployed people, and so forth.  I also mentioned in my most recent post to you, is you have to get ENOUGH to eat, and some of the items you mentioned eating doesn't sound like enough to keep a bird alive.

Well, as I said, it takes a few months to get over those drugs completely.  I got off a couple difficult medicines and it was more than three months before I sort of "came around," and even then, I was a little slow getting back into the swing of things.  I hope you are getting enough to eat, cuz since you are dizzy in the morning makes me say that.  Maybe once a week you should go out to eat at a favorite restaurant and load up, even a Subway deli sandwich would help.

And if you'll increase your walk by another 15 minutes, you can do it in five-min increments over several days and then add another five minutes, until you get to 30 minutes, at least three or four times a week, then eventually you will be able to add a little jogging into it, walk and jog, walk and jog, so your running will come back to you.  Do not expect so much from yourself, for recovery from all this stuff takes as long as it takes and not one second shorter or longer.  If you will do some things that are easy, things that are rewarding in and of themselves, things you USED to do for fun before all this happened, why, MAKE yourself do some of that stuff.

And if you have always wished you could do something, like salsa dancing for example, or study Medieval History, well, take a class in some subject like that or anything else that you're interested in, LEARN new things. I remember one time I was looking for something to do, and I recalled how in my later childhood I loved horseback riding, so I picked up with a friend one day and went to a stables in the area, and went riding, took a while to get used to it again, but it was a lot of fun.

Why don't you try some of the stuff on my lists for a week or so, and some of the things I've talked about in my posts, and if you notice you're feeling better, that is good.  If you find you are not feeling any better at all after a couple weeks, might be a good idea to visit a regular family doc and get a checkup, just to make sure you're not anemic or something.  Put together some sort of schedule of stuff to do... doesn't have to be every day, but this will be times when you decide that you will, for example, arrange to see a massage therapist, you will take a nice long hot bath by candlelight one evening, you will plan to eat out a big meal somewhere, you will start to lengthen that walk, you will eat eggs and blueberries for a few days (along with regular meals), and you'll get you some sort of old hobby you used to like going.

Bless you, Sumon, massage therapy is when a licensed massage therapist rubs you down, you know, where you lay flat down on a table with your shirt off and a towel from the waist down, and they put oils and rub your skin and muscles in the back, shoulders, neck, and arms in a methodical way.  The result is, it loosens tightened muscles, which you are sure to have because of withdrawals, and rubbing them gets all the tension out of your body.  You can look in the phone book and find them in the yellow pages, they come after "Masonry," and you'll then see, "Massage Therapists," or you can ask your local gym who they recommend, as lots of body builders and exercise folks need a rubdown or massage afterwards, and some spas will have them, too.  A couple sessions in a week's time will do it, and then go back whenever you feel all twisted and drawn up into yourself.

Depression is a natural result of withdrawals.  You are wasted, burned out, you have been trying so very hard to rid yourself of these drugs that your body is exhausted.  So, you have to rely on good old-fashioned good living to pull you through this negative state of mind.  All the things I mentioned in my last post will make you feel good.  And keep up the walking, but extend it farther and work at it harder, try walking thru a park or woods, breaking a sweat releases feel-good endorphins.  Also, the foods that help release endorphins are:

Blueberries
Eggs
Dark chocolate
Half-glass of red wine
Fresh-baked bread

Always drink wine during a meal, and NO you may not have any more than a half glass... make a bottle last at least one week or longer.  On the bread thing, many grocery stores have a bakery section, and you go over there and ask for some fresh baked bread, and they'll give you some, with French style bread being the very best.  I recall one of the very best meals I ever ate was when husband got into bread machines, and he made me some fresh bread from scratch, oh my gosh, talk about feeling GOOD.  Right now I've got my big Hersheys' Dark Chocolate bar sitting here as a morning pick-me-up, I just eat one of the small rectangles and drink some milk with it, yum, yum.

Another way to chase depression away is to do a focused creative sort of fun thing, like art is wonderful, and right now, on most PC machines is "Paint Program," just type it in the search for programs at the start button, and then have fun, push some virtual "paint" around, even if you cannot draw a straight line, just a landscape with green for the ground, yellow for the sun, and lots of purples and reds for sky at sunset.  There's also puzzles, I like Soduku puzzles, only for gosh sakes, only do the EASY beginner ones, it takes some doing, but is a very pleasant distraction.  I also pull out my guitar sometimes, I can spend an hour fooling with it and be perfectly content, I forget everything except the sounds it makes... you could take classes in guitar, buy a real cheap one at Target or Walmart.  Just anything like that that makes you feel some sort of reward and sense of accomplishment.

And ANYTIME you are in a situation where you feel nervous, do that deep breathing I told you about, it'll "bring you around" to where you can handle what's going on.  Also, I might add, drinking extra water is really good for a person, especially after exercise, it rids your body of toxins quicker, and so many people don't drink enough of it, shoot for at least four glasses a day.  If there's anything else I can answer or help you with, keep on posting, I check these things almost daily.  GG

One more thing, try eating turkey sandwiches every day, turkey meat has some kind of natural sleepy stuff in it, it'll help you relax.  If it makes you too sleepy, just eat some as part of your dinner (with dressing and gravy, too!).

As you probably already know, the sound and light thing is also a withdrawal symptom from your drugs, it goes on for a few months and FINALLY stops.  So, in the meantime, you can do these things to help yourself thru it:

Massage therapy
Very warm baths
Light scented candles and incense
Wear sunglasses and earplugs
Practice deep breathing

Each one of those things is important, especially getting some massage treatments!  And anytime you feel anxious, take in a very deep breath, hold it for a couple seconds, slowly blow it all out, then breathe normal a few times, then repeat up to ten times.  It'll lower your heartrate and thus lessen anxiety.  When I light up candles and incense, I have favorite scents I love, so find smells you really like, and at the same time I turn down the lights and play really beautiful music that is soothing and quiet.  I often wear sunglasses everywhere I go, it helps with bright light and also I AM INVISIBLE!  Just like in the movie, "Little Big Man."  Nobody can see me when they're on.

Well, hope some of this keeps you reasonably sane, and sometime after the New Year, you'll settle down quite a bit.  If not, go to your regular doc and have a checkup, just in case.  You done good, so hang in.
