My son was recently DX with MIller Fischer. It affected his left side and bladder. He is also Dx with Horner virus in his L eye. THey gave IGG antibodies and IV prednisone for about 5 days. His MRI showed nothing in ER but now showed some swelling at the base of the brain. A few days later it still showed swelling but not as ugly the MD said.He is still on Neurotin. He was at 800 every 6 hours and that has been decreased.(NOt sure the dose). What can we expect as far as full recovery and time. thanks!
