Hi there. Minimal microvascular ischemic disease or small vessel ischemic disease is also called white matter disease and is usually a MRI or CT scan finding.  It is an impact of other chronic diseases on brain’s white matter, unlike a disease of the brain itself, usually happens during progression of certain conditions like diabetes and hypertension. This disease places a patient at increased risk of having a stroke so appropriate life style measures need to be inculcated. Take care.

Can minimal microvascular ischemic disease cause imbalance? if so, could oxygen treatment help?
