I HAVE LOWER BACK PAIN SHOOTING DOWN TO MY BUTTOCKS AND LEFT LEG.
I DID A MRI RECENTLY AND THE FOLLOWING SHOWED UP
right para-central extruded cudally migrated sequestrated L5/S1 disc impigne upon the left exiting and traversing S1 nerveNerve biopsy Nerve conduction velocity roots.
IMRESSION-EXTRUDED CAUDALLY MIGRATED SEQUESTERED RIGHT PARACENTRAL L5/S1 DISC.
please advise what this means and what is the treatment .

Why didn't your doctor go over your test results with you???? shame on him/her
I believe this is commonly called ruptured discs. however, ask your doctor to explain fully. Then research this subject thouroghly before letting the docs do surgery on your back. Hugs, Teri
