had a mri last week of pelvic area and lower back, got a copy of the mri on a disc and took a look of it and was wondering what black spots and bright white spots mean in either are scanned?

HI,
How are you? What are the symptoms present? Brain lesions or abnormal areas in the brain may present as dark or light spots on MRI. This could be due to minor issues or serious conditions. Additional diagnostic tests may need to be done for proper evaluation. It is best that you discuss the results with your attending physician for proper diagnosis. Medical history, symptoms present as well as results of other diagnostic tests are also important considerations. Take care and best regards.
