There are organisms which causes abcess (abscess) due to hematogenous spread in brain, liver among others.

Abscess can occur in any part of the body. Multiloculations means that there numerous pockets of pus within a single abscess cavity. Abscess formed in internal organs are usually due to hematogenous spread of microbes. But direct inoculation of organisms do occur.
